What surfaces is Citrowash safe to use on?
Citrowash is safe on painted bodywork, aluminium surfaces and profiles. On dark-coloured, old or oxidised paint, cool the surface with a jet of water before applying the product. Always test tolerability on a small area when using on sensitive or unusual substrates.
What dilution ratios should I use?
For foam lance use, run it from neat down to 1:15. Spray systems can go from 1:20 up to 1:100 depending on contamination level. Automatic wash systems typically dose at 5-30 ml per vehicle. For motorcycles, a 2.5% solution (1:40) is recommended.
How long do I leave it on the paint before rinsing?
Work panel by panel and rinse before the product dries. Because it is acid-active, do not let it sit on hot or dry paintwork, especially on dark or oxidised finishes. Cool the surface with water first if the panel is warm.
Can I pre-dilute a batch for repeated use?
Yes, the product can be pre-diluted. However, the storage method and the quality of your water will affect how long the diluted solution stays effective, so only pre-dilute what you expect to use within a reasonable period and keep the container closed with a cap that has a tube passage.
Is Citrowash suitable for use with a foam lance on a pressure washer?
