What compressor pressure does the 004 Classic require?
The gun is rated for a working pressure of 6.2 bar and draws 200 litres of air per minute. Any workshop compressor or good-quality portable compressor that can sustain this output will work. Connect via the 1/4" male fitting to your standard air line.
What cleaning products can I use in the tank?
The 004 Classic is compatible with water, diluted all-purpose cleaners and interior detailing solutions. Avoid undiluted solvent-based products that could damage the plastic tube or seals. A diluted APC at the manufacturer's recommended ratio is the most common choice for interior work.
Is the rotating nozzle safe on car paint?
Yes. The white plastic tube that contacts surfaces is scratch-free by design. The foamy solution it produces is gentle enough for painted bodywork. That said, keep the nozzle tip a few centimetres from the surface and use an appropriate, paint-safe cleaning solution.
How do I clean the gun after use?
Empty the tank, fill it with clean water and run the gun briefly to flush residual product from the internal passages and nozzle. This keeps the rotating core free of build-up and extends the life of the seals. Allow to air-dry before storage.
Can I use this gun for exterior washing?
Absolutely. The 004 Classic is designed for both interior and exterior use. On the exterior it is particularly effective on body panels, door jambs, wheel arches, grilles and other areas where a rotating foam application speeds up the cleaning process.
How much solution does the tank hold?
The tank capacity is 1000 ml. At normal dilution ratios for interior cleaning this is enough to work through a full interior in one fill. For large exterior jobs you may need to refill once or twice.
Is this gun suitable for cleaning air conditioning vents and tight gaps?
This is one of the 004 Classic's strongest use cases. The nozzle's slim profile and the pressurised rotating spray allow it to reach deep into vents, speaker grilles and narrow gaps that a cloth or brush simply cannot access effectively. The foamy output lifts trapped dust and grime without over-saturating the surrounding trim.
How heavy is the gun and is it comfortable for extended use?
The fully assembled gun weighs 780 grams. The aluminium and stainless steel body keeps it solid without being unwieldy. Most detailers find it comfortable for a full interior detail in one session, though if you are moving quickly through multiple vehicles back-to-back you may want to empty the tank between cars to reduce the carry weight.
