Which polish should I use with this pad?
Zvizzer developed the UFO pads specifically to pair with their One-Step Speed Polish. Why does the UFO shape matter? Will a round flat pad not do the same job?

What is the PU layer and why does it matter?
The PU (polyurethane) layer sits between the foam body and the Velcro backing. How do I prime and maintain the pad during a session?
Prime the pad with a small amount of polish before your first pass. Between panels, remove excess product with a pad cleaning brush or pad conditioning spray to keep the foam's open-cell structure clear and working efficiently. The thermostable foam holds its shape well under repeated cleaning, so you can get consistent performance across a full correction session.
Can I use this pad on PPF or ceramic-coated paint?
The UFO Grey is a cutting pad - it is firmest in the UFO range and designed for paint correction, not light maintenance. Using it on PPF is not recommended as the cut level can damage the film's surface. On a ceramic coating, only use a cutting pad if you are intentionally removing the coating as part of a re-correction process. For light gloss enhancement over ceramic, a softer finishing pad is the right choice.
