Nanotechnology Formula
Professional-grade wax in every wash
Nanotech's nanotechnology formula, enriched with essential oils, creates a genuine water-repellent barrier with each wash cycle. It accelerates drying, delivers real gloss and leaves the surface smooth and hydrophobic - without any of the residue or effort of a traditional paste wax.
Why Nanotech
Every wash works harder
Gloss, protection and fast drying - built into your wash routine.
-
Self-Drying Effect

-
Glossy, Smooth Finish
Essential oils leave bodywork sparkling with a slick, smooth feel and no greasy residue.
-
Ultra-Concentrated
1:100 dilution ratio means one litre produces up to 100 litres of ready-to-use wax solution.
-
All Vehicle Types
Cleared for cars, bakkies, vans, camper vans, trucks and motorbikes - one product for a full fleet.
How It Stacks Up
Nanotech vs. standard rinse wax
Most rinse-stage waxes do a decent job on water beading, but not all are formulated at a concentration that makes professional-volume use practical. Here is how Nanotech compares to a typical off-the-shelf rinse wax.
| Feature | DetailerSA | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Nanotechnology-based formula | Yes | No |
| Hydrophobic water-repellent barrier | Yes | Yes |
| 1:100 ultra-concentrate ratio | Yes | No |
| Fast-drying, no greasy residue | Yes | Yes |
| Suitable for all vehicle types incl. trucks | Yes | No |
| Long-term standalone paint protection | No | No |
Extreme Concentration
One litre goes a very long way
At a 1:100 dilution ratio, a single litre of Nanotech yields up to 100 litres of ready-to-use solution. For busy wash bays and detailers running high vehicle volumes, that kind of concentration makes quality protection genuinely cost-effective at scale.

Questions
Frequently asked
How do I dilute Nanotech correctly?
Add 1 L of Nanotech concentrate to 100 L of water for a 1:100 dilution. For a sprayer or atomiser, measure carefully - the high concentration means you only need a small amount per application. Always dilute before use; do not apply the concentrate directly to paintwork.
At what stage of the wash process do I apply it?
Nanotech is designed as a self-drying liquid wax used during the drying stage. After your normal wash and rinse, spread the diluted solution evenly over the wet vehicle using a sprayer or atomiser, then rinse with plenty of water and dry as normal. The hydrophobic effect activates while you are still drying the car.
Is it safe on all paint types, including dark and black paint?
Yes. Nanotech is formulated for all vehicle bodywork. The essential-oil formula does not contain harsh abrasives, so it is suitable on all paint colours including dark, black and metallic finishes. It leaves no greasy residue that could cause streaking on dark paint.
Can I use it on glass, wheels and plastic trim?
The product is described for bodywork use on all vehicle types. Fra-Ber does not specifically list glass, bare alloy wheels or unpainted plastic trim as target surfaces, so for those areas we recommend checking with Fra-Ber or using a purpose-built product for each surface type.
How long does the water-repellent protection last?
Nanotech is a wash-stage liquid wax rather than a standalone sealant or ceramic coating, so protection is refreshed with each wash cycle. It is not positioned as a long-term standalone protectant - think of it as a durable rinse aid that adds gloss and hydrophobic properties every time you wash.
What is the coverage per litre of concentrate?
One litre of Nanotech concentrate produces up to 100 L of ready-to-use solution, making it exceptionally economical for professional wash bays or detailers handling multiple vehicles. The exact number of vehicles per litre depends on vehicle size and how much diluted solution you apply per wash.
Can Nanotech be layered with a ceramic coating or paint sealant?
Nanotech can complement an existing ceramic coating or sealant - applying it as a rinse-stage wax over a coated car will add a layer of gloss and topping hydrophobicity at each wash. It is not a substitute for a dedicated ceramic coating where long-term, hardened protection is the goal.
What finish does Nanotech leave?
After rinsing and drying, bodywork is left sparkling and glossy with a smooth, slick feel and a light cherry fragrance. There is no waxy build-up or greasy residue. Water beads and sheets off efficiently, and the surface repels light dirt between washes.
