The 5-inch pad is sized for Rupes DA random-orbital polishers that accept a 5-inch backing plate, such as the LHR15 Mark III. Always confirm your backing plate size before ordering - the pad should overhang the plate by roughly half an inch for correct foam engagement.

The DA Ultra-Fine is gentle enough for use on paint protection film (PPF) and ceramic-coated surfaces where very light refinement or a finishing polish is needed.
