The Pads99 Yellow Twister 3-inch pad is compatible with both dual-action (DA) and rotary polishers fitted with a 3-inch backing plate. On a DA it gives you controlled one-step correction; on a rotary it adds more aggression, so dial back your pressure accordingly.
What level of paint correction does this pad deliver?
As a medium-grade pad it handles light to moderate swirl marks, water spotting and light marring in a single pass when paired with the right one-step or all-in-one product. It will not remove deep scratches or heavy sanding marks - those require a more aggressive cutting pad and compound.
Which surfaces is the Yellow Twister safe to use on?
It is designed for clear-coated paintwork. Use it on standard factory paint, repainted panels and softer aftermarket clear coats. Avoid using it directly on bare paint, raw aluminium, glass or plastic trim unless you are certain the surface can handle foam polishing.
