Lay down a flawless wax coat without touching your correction
The Pads99 Green Sandwich Pad's ultra-soft foam is built for one job: transferring wax, sealant or glaze onto a corrected panel without adding a single scratch. At 3 inches it fits tight curves and works equally well on a DA or by hand.

Questions
Frequently asked
What machine is this pad compatible with?
The 3-inch Pads99 Green Sandwich Pad fits 3-inch backing plates on dual-action (DA) polishers. It can also be used by hand with a hand applicator block or simply pressed against the panel by finger for very small areas.
What products should I use with this pad?
This pad is designed for finishing-stage products: paste waxes, liquid waxes, sealants, finishing glazes and light quick detailers. It does not carry enough bite for cutting compounds or heavy polishes - use a cutting or polishing pad for those stages.
Will this pad put swirl marks on a freshly corrected finish?
No. The ultra-soft foam cell structure is specifically chosen for zero abrasion on paint. Used with a wax or sealant (no abrasive), this pad will not introduce swirl marks or haze to a corrected panel.
How do I prime this pad before use?
Apply a small amount of your chosen wax or sealant to the face of the pad and spread it evenly by hand before switching on the machine. Priming prevents the pad from absorbing too much product on the first section and gives you more consistent coverage from the start.
Can I use this pad on paint protection film (PPF) or vinyl?
Yes. The ultra-soft foam is gentle enough for PPF and vinyl wraps. Make sure the product you are applying is compatible with those surfaces - the pad itself will not cause any lifting or marring.
What speed setting should I use on my DA polisher?
For wax and sealant application with a finishing pad, a low to medium speed (typically 1-3 on most DA machines) is sufficient. High speeds are unnecessary and can fling product off the face of the pad before it has a chance to work into the panel.
How do I clean and care for this pad?
Rinse the pad under warm water immediately after use and work any product residue out of the foam with your fingers. For a deeper clean, use a mild pad-cleaning soap or dedicated foam pad cleaner. Allow the pad to air-dry fully before storing - do not tumble dry, as heat distorts foam cell structure.
Where are Pads99 pads manufactured?
Pads99 pads are manufactured entirely in Germany under strict quality controls. Each pad is produced to consistent tolerances, so you get the same performance from pad to pad across the range.
