Built for Detailing

Precision starts with the right bottle

Dilution ratios matter - too weak and your chemical won't cut, too strong and you risk damaging surfaces. The Work Bottle's printed measurements and HDPE construction give you the accuracy and chemical compatibility to work confidently with every product in your kit.

Work Stuff Work Bottle vs a typical cheaper spray bottle

Not all spray bottles are built for detailing chemicals. Here is an honest look at where the Work Stuff Work Bottle differs from the generic alternatives you will find at a hardware or general store, and where either option gets the job done.

Questions

Frequently asked

What chemicals can the Work Bottle handle?

The bottle is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is compatible with the vast majority of detailing chemicals including all-purpose cleaners, degreasers, iron fallout removers, interior chemicals and diluted acids. If you are working with very aggressive undiluted acids or solvents, always check the chemical manufacturer's material compatibility data first.

Is the trigger included in the purchase?

Yes. The set comes complete with a chemical-resistant trigger, so the bottle is ready to fill and use straight away. No need to source a separate trigger.

What capacity does this bottle come in?

This listing is for the 1 litre version of the Work Bottle. Work Stuff also offers the bottle in other capacities to suit different detailing needs.

How do the printed measurements work for dilution ratios?

The bottle has measurement markings printed directly onto the HDPE body rather than on a paper label that can peel or fade. You can measure your chemical concentrate into the bottle first, then top up with water to the required volume to hit your target dilution ratio consistently.

Can I write or print a label directly on the bottle?

Yes. The Work Bottle has a dedicated area specifically designed for labelling. Work Stuff designed it so you can print a label or write directly in that area, rather than relying on adhesive labels that lift or smear when wet.

Will the HDPE material discolour or warp over time?

HDPE is one of the most chemically stable plastics used in the industry and is resistant to warping and discolouration from typical detailing chemicals. Avoid storing highly concentrated oxidising agents or undiluted strong solvents for extended periods, as these can affect any plastic over time.

Can I use this bottle with a foam cannon or other applicator attachments?

The Work Bottle is a standard trigger spray bottle intended for hand-held spray application. It is not designed to connect to a pressure washer or foam cannon. For those applications, you would need a dedicated foam cannon bottle.

How should I clean the bottle between different chemicals?

Rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water several times between different chemical types. For strong or reactive chemicals, flush with water and leave to dry before refilling with a different product. This prevents cross-contamination that could affect product performance or cause unexpected reactions.
