What is the minimum pressure washer rating required?
Your pressure washer must produce at least 50 Bar / 725 PSI to operate the cannon. For best foam output, the sweet spot is 90-150 Bar depending on which orifice you use. Below 50 Bar the cannon will not foam properly.
Which orifice size should I use for my machine?
The cannon ships with a 1.25mm orifice pre-installed, suited to machines running 110-150 Bar / 1,595-2,175 PSI. A 1.1mm orifice is included in the box for machines running 90-110 Bar / 1,305-1,595 PSI. For machines below 90 Bar, a 0.9mm orifice is available separately. For machines above 150 Bar, larger orifice sizes are also available - refer to MJJC's orifice guide for the correct size.
How much shampoo do I add to the tank?
Dilution ratio depends on your shampoo's concentration and how thick you want your foam. A good starting point is roughly 30-50ml of a concentrated snow foam or car shampoo per litre of water. Adjust upward for thicker cling or downward if you find the foam is too dry to flow. The over-1-litre tank gives you room to experiment.
Can I use any car shampoo or does it need to be a snow foam product?
You can use a dedicated snow foam, a high-suds car shampoo, or a pre-wash chemical diluted to the manufacturer's recommendation. Products with higher foaming agents will produce a thicker, more clingy foam blanket. Avoid low-suds maintenance shampoos - they won't foam well regardless of the cannon.
How does the 360-degree spray pattern work in practice?
The cannon head rotates so you can point the fan pattern upward to reach the roof and bonnet, horizontal for the doors and pillars, or downward for the sills and chassis. You don't have to remove and re-attach the cannon or awkwardly angle the lance - just rotate the head and keep washing.
Is the tank genuinely leak-proof when inverted?
