Drill-Powered Agitation
Deep interior cleaning in less time
Attach the Drill Brush to your drill, apply your interior cleaner, and agitate upholstery, carpet and mats far more effectively than any hand brush can. The 10cm brush head covers good ground per pass and the bristles do the work without you grinding your hands into the fabric.
Why It Works
The right brush for every surface
One tool that handles the full interior detail.
-
Drill-Speed Agitation
Spinning at drill speed, it lifts embedded dirt from carpet pile and upholstery that hand scrubbing simply cannot reach.
-
Three Bristle Grades
Soft, medium and hard let you match the brush to the fabric so you clean thoroughly without risking damage to delicate weaves.
-
No Adapter Needed
The 1/4" chrome hex shank fits directly into most standard drill drivers - chuck it in and get straight to work.
-
Built to Last
A moisture-resistant base and shape-holding bristles mean the brush stays true through repeated wet and dry cleaning sessions.
Drill Brush vs. Hand Brush
Why drill-powered agitation wins
A hand brush gets the job done, but it takes more time, more effort and rarely agitates deep pile as effectively. Here is how the Drill Brush stacks up against a standard hand-held interior brush.
| Feature | DetailerSA | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Multiple bristle hardness options | Yes | Yes |
| Drill-powered agitation | Yes | No |
| Deep pile carpet agitation without hand fatigue | Yes | No |
| Works wet and dry | Yes | Yes |
| Direct 1/4" hex shank, no adapter required | Yes | No |
| Suitable for household upholstery as well | Yes | Yes |
Built for the Detail Bay
Three bristle options, one hex shank
Soft for delicate seats, medium for everyday carpet, hard for floor mats and trunk liners - the Drill Brush covers the full interior without the need to swap tools. The chrome 1/4" hex shank drops straight into most drill drivers and the moisture-resistant base keeps the brush solid through wet and dry cleaning sessions alike.

Questions
Frequently asked
Which bristle hardness should I use on car seat fabric?
Start with soft for delicate or lighter upholstery where you want agitation without any risk of pulling threads. Move to medium for standard automotive fabric seats and carpet pile. Hard is best reserved for heavy-duty mats, rubber-backed carpets or tough synthetic liners where maximum agitation is needed.
Does it fit all drills?
The chrome-plated hex shank is a standard 1/4" fitting, which connects directly to most corded and cordless drill drivers without any adapter. If your drill accepts 1/4" hex bits, this brush will fit. Check your drill's chuck spec if you are unsure.
Can I use it wet with interior cleaners?
Yes. The moisture-resistant base is designed for wet use. Apply your interior cleaner or upholstery shampoo to the surface or lightly to the brush, then work in overlapping passes. Rinse the brush head thoroughly after each use to keep the bristles clean.
Will the hard bristles damage carpet fibres?
The bristles are designed not to snag or fray fabric even at the hard setting, but use your own judgement on delicate or looped pile. Run a quick test in a hidden area first if you are working on fine upholstery. For anything delicate, the soft option is the safer starting point.
Can this be used dry to remove sand and grit?
Yes. Running the brush dry over carpet and mat surfaces before vacuuming is an efficient way to loosen embedded grit and sand. The spinning action brings debris to the surface so the vacuum picks it up cleanly.
What speed setting should I run the drill at?
A low-to-medium speed setting is sufficient for most fabrics and gives you better control. Higher speeds can be used on tough mats and trunk liners but are not necessary for standard upholstery. The bristles are rated to hold shape at high RPM, so you will not damage the brush, but slower is generally safer for the surface.
Is the 3-pack a separate product or do I choose it as a variant?
The 3-pack contains all three hardness levels - soft, medium and hard - in one order. It is the most practical option if you work across a range of interior surfaces and want the right tool available without switching to a different brush type each time.
How do I care for the brush after use?
Rinse the bristles under clean water after every use to remove cleaner residue and debris. Shake off excess water and store the brush in a dry place. The moisture-resistant base prevents warping, but keeping it dry between uses extends its working life.
