What dilution ratio should I use for solar panels?
Fra-Ber recommend two ratios depending on your method. For a spray-and-rinse approach, dilute 1 part Sundet Panel with 5 to 10 parts water. For a spray-and-wipe-dry approach (useful where rinsing is awkward), dilute 1 part product with 10 to 25 parts water. Start at the more dilute end for regular maintenance washes.
Will Sundet Panel damage the anti-reflective coating on my solar panels?
No. Sundet Panel is a neutral-pH detergent, which means it will not attack or opacify the coatings applied to photovoltaic panels. It is specifically designed to avoid damage to these delicate surfaces while still removing stubborn contamination.
What type of water should I rinse with?
Fra-Ber recommend demineralised water as a first preference, or osmotic water. Mains water can also be used. Demineralised or osmotic water is preferred because it leaves no mineral spotting on the panel surface, which would otherwise reduce light absorption over time.
