Start with a clean, dry windscreen - decon with a clay bar or glass polish first if there are mineral deposits or silicone residue. Roll the applicator head across the glass in overlapping horizontal or vertical strokes until the whole surface is coated. Let the film flash to a white haze for roughly 5 minutes, then buff off firmly with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. Two back-to-back coats give noticeably better beading and longer durability.

Glaco Roll On is formulated specifically for glass. It works on windscreens, side windows, rear glass and wing mirrors. Do not apply it to painted surfaces, plastic trim, rubber seals or polycarbonate headlight lenses - the solvent chemistry in the formula is not suited to those substrates.

Yes. The product bonds to the glass surface itself, not to window film. It is safe to use over factory privacy glass (dye-in-glass tint). If you have an aftermarket film on the inside of the glass, the Glaco is applied to the outside surface only, so there is no contact with the interior film.

Under normal driving conditions, expect 2 to 3 months of active beading and sheeting. Harsh wash chemicals, aggressive wiping and heavy wiper use will shorten that window. A quick top-up coat every couple of months keeps the protection consistent year-round.

Flash time is approximately 5 minutes at room temperature - you will see the coating turn from clear to a uniform white haze. Buff it off as soon as it hazes fully; leaving it too long makes removal harder. You can drive immediately after buffing, but avoid rain or a car wash for at least 1 hour to allow the bond to stabilise properly.

A single 120 ml bottle is enough for multiple full-vehicle treatments. Most detailers get 4 to 6 complete applications (all glass on a standard sedan) from one bottle, depending on how heavy-handed the rolling stroke is. The roll-on delivery system uses product efficiently - very little is wasted compared to applying with a folded cloth.

It is best applied to bare, clean glass for a direct bond. Layering over a silica-based glass coating is not recommended as the Glaco formula may not adhere properly to a fully cured coating. If you are switching from another product, do a light glass polish or iron fallout remover pass first to clear the old layer, then apply Glaco on fresh glass.

A correctly applied and fully buffed Glaco coating should be optically clear with no smearing or hazing. If you notice rainbow sheens or distortion under lights, the coating was not fully buffed during application. A second wipe with a clean, dry microfibre - using firm pressure - will sort it out. Avoid applying in direct sunlight, which speeds up flash time and makes even buffing harder.
