Do I need to heat the badge before using this kit?
A heat gun or hair dryer softens the factory adhesive tape and makes the removal easier, but the kit's cutting line can work without heat on many badges. On thick double-sided tape, a brief warm-up (around 40-50°C surface temp) significantly reduces effort and the risk of pulling paint.
How do I remove the adhesive residue after lifting the badge?
Apply the included adhesive remover to the residue and allow it to dwell for 30-60 seconds. Wipe away with a clean microfibre cloth using gentle pressure. Repeat if needed. Finish with an IPA wipe to ensure the surface is clean before any correction, coating or protection step.
Will this work on glass, chrome trim or plastic?
