Yes - S1 is specifically formulated as a maintenance shampoo for ceramic and nano-coated surfaces. It will not strip or degrade a cured coating. In fact, the SiO2 content helps revive and top up the hydrophobic layer each time you wash. Avoid using it on a coating that has not yet fully cured - check your coating manufacturer's recommended cure window first.

Absolutely. S1 will still clean effectively and leave a short-term SiO2 sealant layer on bare paint, glass and other smooth surfaces. The protection duration will be shorter than on a pre-coated surface, but you will still get noticeably improved beading and a glossier finish compared to a standard shampoo.

S1 is safe on painted bodywork (all colours), glass, polished metals, plastic trim and wheels. It is neutral enough for regular use on PPF and wrapped surfaces, though always test on a small area first if you are unsure about a specific vinyl or wrap brand.

Innovacar states that the hydrophobic water-repellent effect lasts up to 4 months. This assumes the vehicle is maintained regularly with S1 and is not subjected to harsh chemical wash treatments or strong alkaline degreasers in the interim.

S1 contains patent-protected enzymes that provide deep organic decontamination, targeting organic dirt at a molecular level. For routine maintenance between full decon stages, it handles organic contamination well. However, for heavy iron fallout, tar spots or embedded rail dust, a dedicated iron remover and clay bar decon will still be necessary before S1 can perform at its best.

Yes. S1 works in a foam cannon as a pre-wash or as part of a two-bucket wash routine. Adjust your dilution ratio to suit your equipment - a foam cannon typically needs a slightly higher concentration to produce a thick foam. Pre-rinsing the vehicle before applying foam helps the enzymes and SiO2 work more effectively on the surface.

Like any shampoo, S1 should be rinsed before it fully dries on a hot panel. Work in the shade or on a cool surface where possible. If any residue does form, a quick rinse or a damp microfibre wipe will clear it without damaging the underlying coating or paint.
