Can I use it to remove a ceramic coating during application?
Yes. The short-pile side is well suited for wiping coating residue and levelling product during the flash stage of a ceramic coating application. Fold the cloth to a clean quarter section as each panel is done to avoid cross-contaminating the surface with cured product.
Is the cloth safe on dark and freshly corrected paintwork?
The ultrasonically cut edgeless design eliminates the hard seams and sewn borders that typically cause edge marks on sensitive paint. The short-pile 300 GSM construction is gentle enough for use on corrected and coated surfaces when used with light, even pressure.
What surfaces can Micron Up be used on?

How do I wash and care for the cloth?
Wash with warm or hot water using SM Micron Shampoo, or machine wash at a maximum of 30°C. Do not use fabric softener - it clogs the fibres and kills absorbency. Do not use bleach, tumble dry or iron the cloth. Store it in the resealable zip-lock bag when dry.
How many cloths come in the pack?
The product is sold individually - one 40 x 40 cm Micron Up cloth per resealable zip-lock bag. If you need multiples for a full correction and coating detail, add the quantity you need to your cart.
Can I pair Micron Up with a machine polisher?
Micron Up is a hand cloth, not a machine pad. Use it to hand-wipe residue left behind after machine polishing, not as a backing attachment. Fold to a clean quarter panel as you work across the car so you are always buffing with a fresh section of cloth.
Can Micron Up be layered into any stage of the detailing process?
Yes. It is useful at the decon stage for wiping fallout remover or iron decontaminator residue, through the correction stage for wiping compound and polish, during coating application for levelling ceramic product, and for interior finishing with spray cleaners.
