Which pressure washers does this foam cannon fit?
This version is supplied with the quick-release connector for Nilfisk and Kranzle machines. Check the listing variant carefully before purchasing - MJJC produces connectors for other brands separately.
What is the minimum pressure washer rating required?
The cannon will function from 50 Bar / 725 PSI upward, but you will need to fit the correct orifice for your machine's output. The pre-installed 1.25mm orifice is sized for 110-150 Bar. The included 1.1mm orifice suits 90-110 Bar machines. A separate 0.9mm orifice (sold individually) covers the 50-90 Bar range.
Which orifice comes pre-installed, and what else is in the box?
The cannon ships with a 1.25mm orifice pre-installed and a 1.1mm orifice included in the package. If your machine runs in the 90-110 Bar range, swap to the 1.1mm before first use. A 0.9mm orifice for lower-pressure machines is available separately.
How thick does the foam actually get?
MJJC rates the V2.0 at up to 30% thicker foam than the previous generation. Actual thickness depends on your shampoo concentration, water-to-product ratio and your machine's pressure. Using a dedicated snow-foam shampoo at the manufacturer's recommended dilution gives the best results.
What is the tank capacity?
The tank holds more than 1 litre of diluted solution, which is enough to cover larger vehicles - SUVs, bakkies and vans - without a mid-wash refill in most cases.
Does the tank leak when the cannon is tilted or inverted?
The new cap design is leak-proof even when the cannon is placed upside down. This makes it safer to set down on a trolley or store partially filled without spillage.
Can I adjust the spray pattern?
Yes. The V2.0 features a 360-degree adjustable spray pattern. You can rotate the fan to a wide sheet for panels, or narrow it to target the undercarriage and wheel arches without repositioning yourself or the lance.
What shampoo dilution ratio should I use?
Dilution varies by shampoo - follow the product manufacturer's recommended snow-foam ratio as a starting point. A higher product-to-water ratio increases foam density; dial back from there if you are getting excessive drip. The V2.0's improved foam technology means you typically need less shampoo than older cannon designs to achieve the same coverage.
