What is the minimum pressure washer pressure required to run this foam cannon?
The MJJC Foam Cannon Pro V2.0 requires a minimum operating pressure of 50 BAR / 725 PSI. Below that, you won't generate enough flow to produce a proper foam output.
Which orifice comes pre-installed, and what is the second orifice in the box for?
The cannon ships with a 1.25mm orifice pre-installed, which is optimised for machines rated 110-150 BAR (1595-2175 PSI). The package also includes a 1.1mm orifice for machines in the 90-110 BAR range. Swap to the smaller orifice if your pressure washer sits in that lower bracket for best foam performance.
What if my pressure washer is outside the two included orifice ranges?
MJJC offers additional orifice sizes separately. A 0.9mm orifice covers 50-90 BAR machines, and a 1.35mm orifice handles high-output machines from 150 BAR up to 280 BAR / 4061 PSI. Check the orifice chart and purchase the correct size for your specific machine.
How does the 360-degree spray pattern actually work?
The spray head rotates a full 360 degrees so you can angle the foam cone directly upward to reach the roof and bonnet, straight ahead for vertical panels, or downward to hit the sills, rocker panels and chassis. You don't have to twist your wrist or contort the gun to cover the whole vehicle.
What is the tank capacity, and is the lid leak-proof?
The tank holds over 1 litre of diluted solution, which is enough to cover larger vehicles without needing a refill mid-wash. The redesigned cap is leak-proof and holds even if you set the cannon down upside down - no mess, no puddles in your wash bucket area.
Does it connect to any brand of pressure washer?
The cannon comes with a 1/4-inch male quick-connector adapter. Most consumer and semi-professional pressure washers use a 1/4-inch quick-connect system, but check your gun's fitting before ordering. The new connection design requires no tape or thread sealant - it seats and locks quickly.
What dilution ratio should I use with my snow foam shampoo?
Dilution depends on your shampoo's concentration and the level of soiling. A common starting point is 30-60ml of foam shampoo topped up to the 1-litre mark with water. The V2.0's improved foam technology means you can get thick coverage at lower soap concentrations than older cannon designs - dial back and experiment to find the sweet spot with your specific product.
Is this cannon suitable for use before a ceramic-coated or PPF-protected vehicle's contact wash?
Yes. A foam pre-wash is actually the recommended first step on ceramic-coated and PPF-covered vehicles because it lifts loose contamination and fallout before any contact with the surface. The cannon itself does not contain any abrasive or chemical that would affect coatings - just use a pH-neutral or coating-safe shampoo in the tank.
