Foam Cannon Orifice for Snow Foam Lance and Foam Cannon MJJC.

Precision Foam Control

Get the foam density your pressure washer is capable of

The orifice is the single smallest part in a foam lance and the one that has the biggest effect on foam quality. Choosing the right bore diameter for your machine's bar output means the lance can do what it was designed to do: lay down a thick, clinging blanket of snow foam that dwells on the paint and loosens contamination before you touch the car.

Why the Orifice Matters

Small part, big difference

Four reasons the right orifice makes your foam lance work properly.

  • Thicker, Denser Foam

The correct bore diameter builds the right internal pressure to generate a foam blanket that clings to vertical panels.

  • Matched to Your Machine

Five sizes cover 50 Bar all the way to 340 Bar, so there is a correct orifice for every pressure washer in the range.

  • Direct OEM Replacement

Manufactured to MJJC spec, so it threads in cleanly and seals without modification on any MJJC lance.

  • Protects Your Lance

Running the correct orifice for your pressure washer reduces unnecessary stress on the lance body and connections.

MJJC vs Generic

OEM orifice versus a generic replacement jet

Generic nozzle jets may look similar but the bore tolerance, thread pitch and sealing surface matter. Here is how the MJJC OEM orifice compares to a typical unbranded replacement.

OEM MJJC Fit

An exact replacement, not a workaround

Because this is an OEM MJJC component, it threads in and seals correctly first time with no modifications. Whether you are replacing a worn jet or simply keeping a spare in the kit bag, you know the fit and the pressure rating are exactly what the lance was built around.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which orifice size should I choose?

Match the orifice to your pressure washer's output. The 1.1mm is recommended for most machines producing under 110 Bar (1595 PSI). The 1.25mm is the stock size that ships with every MJJC lance and suits 110-150 Bar washers. If you are running a higher-pressure machine above 150 Bar, step up to the 1.35mm or 1.65mm accordingly.

Will this orifice fit any foam lance?

No. This orifice is designed specifically for MJJC-branded foam lances and snow foam cannons. It may not fit correctly on lances from other manufacturers. Check that your lance is an MJJC unit before ordering.

My foam is too watery and thin. Which orifice fixes that?

A smaller orifice restricts flow and builds pressure inside the lance, producing thicker foam. If you are on a lower-pressure electric washer (under 110 Bar), switch to the 1.1mm. If you are already running the 1.1mm and still getting thin foam, the issue is more likely your washer's flow rate or the foam product dilution ratio.

My MJJC lance already produces thick foam. Do I need a new orifice?

No. If the lance is working well with your current pressure washer, there is no benefit to changing the orifice. The main reasons to swap are: the existing orifice is damaged or blocked, your foam is too thin, or you have upgraded to a pressure washer in a different bar range.

What is the stock orifice size on a new MJJC foam lance?

All MJJC foam lances ship with a 1.25mm nozzle screw jet installed. This suits pressure washers producing between 110 and 150 Bar (1595-2175 PSI).

Can a blocked orifice cause poor foam output?

Yes. If you notice a sudden drop in foam quality that dilution adjustments do not fix, the orifice may be partially blocked by mineral deposits or product residue. Remove it, rinse thoroughly, and if the damage is permanent, replace it with the same 1.25mm size or whichever size suits your machine.

Does the orifice size affect how I dilute my snow foam?

The orifice controls flow restriction and pressure inside the lance chamber, which affects foam density. Dilution ratio of your snow foam product is a separate variable. For the best results, dial in the correct orifice for your pressure washer first, then fine-tune the dilution to get the foam thickness you want.

Is this a one-time install or do orifices wear out over time?

Under normal use with domestic or prosumer pressure washers, orifices last a long time. Higher-pressure commercial machines can accelerate wear. If you notice the jet hole has enlarged or distorted, or foam quality has degraded despite everything else being correct, it is time for a replacement.
