Any Flex rotary polisher with an M14 spindle thread will accept these extensions directly. The compatible model list from Flex includes the PE 8-4 80, PE 14-1 180, PE 14-2-150, PE 14-3 125, PE 150 18.0-EC/5.0 P-Set BS and PE 150 18.0-EC/5.0 Set BS. If your machine uses M14, you're good.
Can I use the extensions with a dual-action or gear-driven polisher?
These extensions are designed for rotary use. If your DA or gear-driven polisher has an M14 thread, the cordless screwdriver adapter included in the kit may let you trial them at low speed, but the kit is primarily engineered and rated for rotary machines. Confirm your machine's thread pitch before fitting.
What is the maximum pad size I can run on these extensions?
The stated maximum backing pad diameter is 75 mm and the maximum polishing disc diameter is 80 mm. Staying within these limits ensures the extension runs true and keeps the head stable in confined spaces.
Will a longer extension affect polish throw or pad pressure?
