What surfaces can EXOv5 be applied to?
EXOv5 is designed for use on paint, and is also suitable for bikes, boats and automobiles. It can be applied over bare paint, existing ceramic coatings and PPF. Always ensure the surface is fully decontaminated and dry before application.
How do I apply EXOv5?
Apply EXOv5 to a clean, decontaminated surface using a suede or foam applicator block. Work in small sections, spreading the product evenly. The slow flash-off time gives you more working time than most coatings, so you can achieve an even layer without rushing. Once flashed, level with a clean, plush microfibre cloth.
What is the flash time and cure time for EXOv5?
EXOv5 has a deliberately slow flash-off, which makes it more forgiving to apply than faster-flashing coatings. Full cure typically requires 24 hours away from moisture and washing. Avoid water contact, rain and heavy condensation during this period to allow the film to harden properly.
How long does EXOv5 last?
Gtechniq specifies up to two years of durability from a single application. Longevity depends on preparation, application quality and how the vehicle is maintained. Using a pH-neutral shampoo and avoiding harsh wash chemicals will help the coating reach its full service life.
