The 055 requires a working pressure of 5-6.5 bar (6 bar optimal) and consumes 270 L/min of air. A mid-range workshop compressor with a 50-litre or larger tank is recommended to sustain continuous operation. The gun connects via a standard 1/4" BSP thread.
How does the 2-in-1 system work?
Fit the transparent nozzle and connect the adapter to your vacuum cleaner's hose for extraction cleaning - the gun injects foam into the surface while the vacuum simultaneously pulls the dirty solution out. Swap to the black brush nozzle to clean without extraction, which is ideal for vents, trim panels and bodywork where you don't need suction.
What vacuum cleaners is it compatible with?
The included adapter set comes with multiple reductions, allowing the 055 to connect to most standard workshop and wet/dry vacuum cleaners. Check the adapter sizes against your vacuum's inlet diameter before starting.
Can I use it on car bodywork as well as interiors?
Yes. The 055 is suitable for washing bodywork with water or a diluted cleaning fluid, as well as full interior work including seats, carpets, upholstery, plastic trim and air conditioning vents.
What cleaning solutions can I use in the 1000ml tank?
You can fill the tank with water, diluted all-purpose cleaner, upholstery shampoo or another compatible cleaning fluid. Always follow the dilution ratios recommended by your chosen chemical's manufacturer. Do not use undiluted caustic or solvent-based products unless the chemical is specifically rated for use in pneumatic cleaning guns.
How do I control the spray intensity?
The integrated ball valve on the gun body lets you adjust the rotational speed of the nozzle during use. Slow it down for delicate surfaces like fabric or perforated leather, or open it up for heavy-soiled carpets and floor mats.
Is the 055 suitable for cleaning leather seats?
Use it with caution on leather. The low-moisture foam mode (black brush nozzle, no extraction) with a leather-safe cleaning solution is the safest approach. Avoid oversaturating the surface, and always test on a hidden area first. The vortex action is strong enough to work surface dirt loose without requiring heavy wetting.
What maintenance does the gun need after use?
After each session, empty the tank and run clean water through the gun for a short burst to flush the nozzle and internal pathways. This prevents cleaning solution from drying out and clogging the rotating mechanism. The aluminium and stainless steel construction resists corrosion, but keeping it clean extends the life of the rotating core significantly.
