Deep Clean Technology
Tornado-force cleaning where your hands can't reach
The BenBow Classic Tornador Gun spins at 7500 RPM to drive cleaning solution into every vent, seam and gap - the kind of deep agitation that transforms an interior clean from a wipe-down into a proper detail.
Why the Tornador
Every interior detail, done properly
Four reasons professional detailers reach for the Tornador on every interior job.
-
7500 RPM Spin Action
Rotating spray agitates dirt from vents, seams and carpet fibres that brushes and cloths simply cannot reach.
-
1000ml Tank Capacity
Holds enough diluted cleaner for a full mid-size interior without needing to stop and refill mid-job.
-
Pro-Grade Materials
Aluminium and stainless steel body rated to 6.2 bar handles daily professional use without fatigue or failure.
-
Three Extension Tubes
Reach deep HVAC ducts, under seats and into tight panel gaps without awkward angles or guesswork.
Tornador vs Alternatives
How it stacks up against a standard interior spray bottle
A trigger bottle and brush are fine for straightforward surfaces. But when a client's vents are clogged with dust or the carpet seams need real agitation, the Tornador closes the gap that hand tools leave open.

Questions
Frequently asked
What compressor do I need to run the Tornador Gun?
The gun requires a working pressure of 6.2 bar and consumes 200 litres of air per minute. Most professional workshop compressors (50 litre tank and above) will handle it comfortably. Smaller hobby compressors may struggle to keep up with the 200 l/min air demand, so check your compressor's free-air delivery spec before buying.
What fitting does it use to connect to my air line?
The Tornador Gun has a 1/4" male quick-connect fitting, which is the standard size used on most workshop air lines and compressors in South Africa. If your air line uses a different coupler style, you'll need a short adapter - these are available at most hardware and compressor suppliers.
What cleaning products can I use in the tank?
You can use any water-based interior cleaner, APC (all-purpose cleaner) or upholstery shampoo diluted to the correct ratio for the surface you're cleaning. Avoid solvent-heavy products, as the aluminium and stainless steel construction is designed for water-based solutions. Always check the product label for compatibility with pressurised spray application.
What surfaces can the Tornador be used on?
It works on dashboard vents, air conditioning outlets, carpet, fabric upholstery, alcantara, leather (with an appropriate cleaner), door jambs, boot seals, panel gaps and exterior jambs. It is not intended for use on painted panels at close range, as the 7500 RPM spray pressure could push moisture into gaps or cause overspray on surfaces you don't want wet.
What are the three extension tubes included for?
The three extension tubes allow you to reach deep into tight spaces - long HVAC ducts, under seats, into the footwell carpet edges and behind trim panels. Different tube lengths let you choose the right reach for the job without forcing the gun body into an awkward angle.
How do I clean and maintain the Tornador Gun after use?
After each use, empty the tank and run clean water through the gun for a few seconds to flush any product residue from the internal spindle and nozzle. This prevents dried product from clogging the rotating components. Periodically check the 1/4" fitting and tank seal for wear. The aluminium and stainless steel construction is robust, but keeping it clean internally is what preserves the 7500 RPM performance long term.
How much cleaning solution does the 1000ml tank hold, and is that enough for a full interior?
The tank holds 1000ml of diluted solution. For a mid-size sedan interior - seats, carpet, dashboard and door panels - one tank is usually sufficient when using an APC at a moderate dilution ratio. Heavily soiled vehicles or larger SUVs and bakkies may need a second fill. The wide-mouth tank design makes refilling quick mid-job.
Can the Tornador Gun be used for exterior detailing tasks?
While it is primarily an interior tool, some detailers use it to agitate wheel arches, jambs and engine bays where a brush can't reach every crevice. It's not the right tool for painted panel surfaces. For exterior decon and washing, a dedicated foam lance or snow foam cannon will give you better control and coverage.
