Is this wax suitable for my modern clear-coated white car?
No. Soft99 White Soft Wax is formulated specifically for solid white single-stage paint finishes. It is not suitable for clear-coated or metallic paint. If your car has a clear coat - which most vehicles produced from the late 1980s onwards do - you will need a standard wax or sealant designed for clear-coated finishes instead.
How do I know if my vehicle has single-stage paint?
Single-stage paint has colour and gloss in one layer, with no clear coat over the top. If you chip or scratch the paint and the colour goes all the way through without showing a translucent layer beneath, it is likely single-stage. Older commercial vehicles, trade vans and utility vehicles from the 1980s and early 1990s are common candidates. If you are unsure, test in an inconspicuous area first.
How do I apply the White Soft Wax?
