What surfaces can I use Wash Mist Plus on?
It is safe on LCD touchscreens, instrument clusters, painted and unpainted interior plastics, dashboard vinyl, door card trim, leather, fabric headliners and steering wheel covers. If you are unsure about a very delicate or aftermarket surface, test in a hidden spot first.
Is it safe to spray directly onto an LCD screen?
Rather spray a small amount onto a clean microfibre cloth first, then wipe the screen gently. Spraying directly onto any screen risks moisture getting into the edges or vents around the display panel.
Does it leave a shiny or greasy finish on trim?
No. Wash Mist Plus is formulated to leave a clean, natural-matte result - no plasticky sheen, no sticky feel. Surfaces look freshly detailed rather than dressed.
How do I use it correctly?
Mist 2-3 sprays directly onto the surface or onto a folded microfibre cloth. Wipe across the panel to lift contamination, then buff with a second dry cloth if any moisture remains. No dwell time is needed for everyday dust and fingerprints; heavier grease may benefit from a 10-15 second dwell before wiping.
Will it remove bad odours from the cabin?
Yes. The formula includes an odour-neutralising agent that addresses surface-level odour sources such as food residue, sweat transfer on steering wheels and stale smells on door armrests. For deep-seated smells embedded in fabric or the HVAC system, a dedicated odour bomb or fogger would be a more effective complement.
Can I use this on leather seats?
It is safe for a light clean on leather. For a thorough leather decon and conditioning session, pair it with a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner afterwards - Wash Mist Plus handles the light daily maintenance between full cleans.
Does it work on fabric or cloth upholstery?
Yes, for light surface contamination and odours on fabric. For heavy staining or ingrained dirt in cloth seats, a fabric-specific cleaner with an agitation brush will give better penetration and extraction.
Can I use this as a quick detailer for interior plastics between full details?
