No. The CF 18.0/230 is compatible with all Flex 18V battery packs, but the battery and charger are not included in the box. If you already own Flex 18V tools, your existing packs will work straight away.
Can I use it plugged into a wall socket?
Yes. The fan can be powered by a 230V mains supply via the included power supply unit, so you're not dependent on battery charge during longer detail sessions.
How long does the battery last at full speed?
Flex rates run time at approximately 2.2 hours with a 2.5 Ah battery pack and approximately 4.5 hours with a 5.0 Ah pack at maximum speed. Running at lower airflow settings will extend those figures further.
What mounting options does the fan support?
It ships with a hook, a 1/4" thread mount and a 5/8" thread mount. The 5/8" fitting is the same standard used by most light stands and boom arms, so it integrates easily into an existing studio or bay setup.
How far can the head be tilted?
